A Message From Our Principal

Welcome!

Thank you for considering New Dorp Christian Academy as your educational choice for your family.

At New Dorp Christian Academy we want to come alongside the Christian parent to
train a child in the ways of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6). We truly want to partner with our
families to develop a strong Biblical Worldview that will stay with students long after they
leave our building. Our smaller class sizes allow us to individualize instruction even
while using accelerated curriculum.  Our students routinely outperform their peers
according to the national averages of state standardized tests.  Partnership is truly what
we want with our families as we work together to help our students grow in the grace
and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ as well as excel academically.  We are always
better together.

Principal

In 2025, New Dorp Christian Academy celebrated its Golden Anniversary,
50 years serving, educating and being a “beacon of hope on the corner of 10 th and Rose.”

My journey at NDCA began 25 years ago when my daughter started PreK. My son also attended at four years old. We were blessed to find a community that not only gave them an amazing education, but everyday shared the love of Jesus with them. I was class mom, substitute, Spanish teacher to JHS and for 15 years the 2nd grade teacher.

In 2023, I became the assistant principal and began a new path in my career. It was and is a privilege to be able to serve the whole NDCA community with God’s help. The following year, I was the interim principal and then principal. My administrative years ushered a new perspective, challenges, joys and growth in my professional life.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk to them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way….” Deuteronomy 6:5,7a

I love this verse because it teaches us that in every opportunity to show our children who God is and His love toward us. As His teacher missionaries, my prayer is that we follow this command and reflect Christ’s love to our students.
